I hadn't heard this until the last year or two. Ordered the CD from eBay since it's not available to stream. Now I'm finding out that it's the same band as another favorite song of mine: Laid! They really should have picked a more distinguishable name for the band. 😂

Wonderful version, but I still prefer the original uptempo rendering, especially when performed live. Interesting that the Band invariably performs the uptempo version live. It's among their top ten most frequently performed songs at gigs - running into several hundred times!

I prefer this version over the one that ended up on their Seven album. I first heard this in that aforementioned X-Files episode but when I heard the studio version I was gutted. This version is much nicer.

You're right about the downside from the car interior view, the small bit on the end is super dim but still worth it having dynamic indicators as they are brighter than the stock indicators not to mention the strobe effect looks cooler. I just got mine done this weekend. Retrofitted power folding mirrors on mine and as the mirrors were taken apart for the retrofit, got the dynamic indicators done at the same time. Now have both power folding mirrors and dynamic indicators, which is an improvement than the previous manual folding mirrors and standard indicators.
